As a Correctional Health RN, you will:
Deliver front-line nursing care to patients within correctional centres.
Provide clinical assessments, triage, wound care, and chronic disease management.
Respond to medical and mental health emergencies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Deliver health promotion and education on topics such as smoking cessation, mental health, and substance misuse.
Administer medications and manage clinical documentation in line with policies and procedures.
Maintain safety, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 3 years’ post-grad experience (ED, primary health, or correctional highly regarded)
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification desirable
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work within structured policies and security protocols
Vaccination compliance for correctional work (VPD)
Competitive agency rates up to $72 per hour + penalties + super
